Mining/Mineral Members

This level of membership is intended for those engaged in the mining of minerals or the production of minerals and chemicals in Georgia.

Strategic Members

Strategic members are those who provide products and/or services to Georgia’s mining industry and are strategically aligned with and derive significant value from the industry.

Associate Members

Associate members are those whose business interests are closely allied to the mining of minerals and who provide products and/or services to Georgia’s mining industry.

Why Join GMA?

Above all, the mission of GMA is to promote the mining industry in Georgia. By working together, we leverage our members’ resources, knowledge, and expertise to encourage intentional and sustainable growth for Georgia’s mineral resource producers and associated enterprises.

Through our job listings, we provide a place for members to find employees at every skill level, and through the Georgia Mining Foundation, we encourage the future of our industry by supporting exceptional Georgia students in their pursuit of higher education.

We serve as a unified voice for the entire Georgia mining industry and its associated enterprises. Through our legislative efforts, we work to ensure that the interests of the mining industry and the wider business community are protected by maintaining visibility on legislation and regulations that impact our operations and by advocating on behalf of our industry.

Like most industries, the technologies and processes involved in mining and mineral production are constantly evolving and improving. GMA membership provides ample opportunities to learn from our members’ resources and one another. Through workshops, meetings, and other networking opportunities, members share best practices, lessons learned through experience, and more. GMA members also work to actively educate the public about mining in Georgia and the essential minerals we produce.

Payments, contributions, or gifts to the Georgia Mining Association, Inc. are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. However, they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses subject to restrictions imposed as a result of association lobbying activities. The Georgia Mining Association, Inc. estimates that the non-deductible portion of your 2023-2024 dues, the portion which can be allocated to lobbying, will be 7.0%.
